EAST MEADOW, N.Y. — Jeannie Wallner has been named the NEWHA Player of the Week.

Wallner scored three goals against Stonehill in the Sharks' two-game series against the Skyhawks this past weekend.

Wallner led LIU to its first win of the 2024-25 season after scoring both goals in LIU's 2-0 win against Stonehill on Oct. 11.

The Kings Park, N.Y., native also scored on the power play in game two of the Sharks' series against the Skyhawks.

Wallner and the Sharks will host Assumption on Friday and Saturday at the Northwell Health Ice Center.
