Tindra Holm's remarkable stretch in goal now includes a shutout.
The Sharks completed a two-game sweep of NEWHA newcomer Assumption with a 3-0 win on Saturday afternoon at Northwell Health Ice Center.
Jeannie Wallner scored twice and
Ryane Kearns also tallied a goal in the victory.
Holm recorded 35 saves.
The Sharks are now 6-0 in NEWHA play, with a shutout now to their credit after Holm and crew limited opponents to one goal apiece in each of the first five games.
Reigning NEWHA champion LIU returns to action next weekend with a pair of games against Saint Anselm at Northwell Health Ice Center in a rematch of last season's conference finals. The Sharks will unveil their 2022-23 NEWHA championship banner in a ceremony before Saturday's 2 p.m. game.
