BROOKVILLE, N.Y. — The LIU women's soccer team saluted four seniors on Sunday.

Unfortunately, the Sharks then lost to visiting FDU, 2-0, at LIU Soccer Park.

During the pregame Senior Day ceremony, LIU honored Jill Meaney, Kira Adkins, Mackenzie Morano and Casey Nickerson.

LIU had chances one-on-one with the goalkeeper, but the Knights converted goals in the 60th and 75th minutes.

The Sharks (6-6-1, 2-4 NEC) return to action Thursday when they host Saint Francis U at 3 p.m. at LIU Soccer Park.
