Back on Track! LIU Motors Past Dartmouth, 2-0

Box Score HANOVER, N.H. — After his first career two-goal game, André Puente was not finished.
 
His third goal in two games proved to be the game-winner as LIU men's soccer took down Dartmouth, 2-0.
 
The Sharks got back into the win column after a brief two-game skid.
 
Viggo Svedin found Puenté in the 30th minute to take the early lead.
 
Emil Jaaskelainen put the finishing touches on the match in the 86th minute.
 
He split a double team and switched to his left foot, playing it past the goalie to secure the victory.
 
Jaaskelainen has scored three goals in three games.
 
Graduate student goalkeeper Gianluca Cersosimo made his LIU debut and registered nine saves.
 
The Sharks return home to face Manhattan on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
