NEW BRITAIN, Conn. – The LIU women's soccer team dropped its first game of the 2020-21 season on the road Friday, falling to Central Connecticut State in the Northeast Conference championship, 4-0. With the loss, the Sharks finish the season with a 3-1-1 record, while CCSU will advance to the NCAA tournament with a 7-0 record.

In the second half, the Blue Devils increased the offensive pressure, out-shooting LIU 11-1. Keeper
Lydia Fraga Cordoba had three saves to limit the scoring, but CCSU would score three goals to take the win by a final score of 4-0.
