EAST MEADOW, N.Y. – The LIU men's ice hockey team made it two wins in a row at home Saturday, beating Post University 6-1 at the Northwell Health Ice Center. With the win, the Sharks are now 2-3 on the season.

• LIU scored three power play goals in the win, converting three of the five opportunities they had.
• Goalie Brandon Perrone made his first appearance of the season, earning his first win in net as a Shark with 10 saves.
• Senior Carson Musser and freshman Jordan Timmons led LIU on offense, each scoring two goals and registering one assist.
• Freshmen Spencer Cox and Marty Westhaver also scored for the Sharks in the win, notching their first collegiate goals.
• Jordan Di Cicco and Jake Stevens had two assists each.
• Billy Jerry (16-for-22) and Preston Brodziak (14-for-20) led LIU in faceoffs.
• Up next, the Sharks head west to take on Nebraska Omaha, Friday, October 29 and Saturday, October 30.
