HAMDEN, Conn. - The LIU women's ice hockey team fell to the #10 nationally-ranked Quinnipiac Bobcats on the road Saturday afternoon, 4-0.

Quinnipiac got on the board in the first period, scoring on a power play in the ninth minute. The Bobcats would score two more goals in the second, and one in the third to go up 4-0 on the Sharks.

Freshman goalie Tindra Holm made 43 saves in the game. Junior Matilda af Bjur had three shots and two blocks, while freshman Jeannie Wallner had four blocks on defense. Junior Megan Roe had two shots and two blocks. 

Up next, the Sharks open up at home, hosting Maine, Friday, October 8.
