BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – Head coach Bryan Collins and the Long Island University department of athletics announced the 2020 Shark football schedule on Tuesday, an 11-game slate featuring three non-conference tilts and four games at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium.
 
LIU's non-conference schedule will feature opponents from the Big Sky Conference, Colonial Athletic Association, and Patriot League.
 
For the second-consecutive season, LIU will open on the road against a semifinalist from the previous season when the Sharks fly to Bozeman, Montana to take on Montana State University on Sept. 5. The Blue and Gold return to Long Island for its home-opener the following weekend as Sacred Heart University heads to Brookville.
 
Following the home-opener, the Sharks begin a four-game road trip on Sept. 19, traveling to the University of Delaware for a non-conference matchup with the Blue Hens. LIU continues the road trip against Lehigh University before returning to Northeast Conference play at Bryant on Oct. 3. The road trip concludes with a non-conference matchup against Merrimack University on Oct. 10.
 
LIU plays host to Robert Morris University on Oct. 17 and will enter a bye week before returning to the road on Oct. 31 at Duquesne University. The Sharks close out their home slate with back-to-back matchups on Nov. 7 and 14, hosting Wagner College and Saint Francis University.
 
The regular season concludes on Nov. 21 when LIU returns to the Nutmeg State to take on 2019 NEC champion Central Connecticut State University.
 
LIU begins its spring schedule on Friday, March 20 and will host its Spring Game on Sunday, April 19.
