NOTES ON THE SHARKS
The Sharks are looking to get back in the win column when they take on Post this weekend. The Blue and Gold are looking to build off the tightly contested game against Sacred Heart last Saturday. Despite the scoring being in favor of Sacred Heart, it was a very tough, competitive game that was played until the end. Megan Bouveur scored the lone goal for the Sharks, on a power play early in the third period, which tied the game at the time. The Pioneers would regain the lead three minutes later. Mia McLeod made 20 saves between the pipes. In Friday's game against the Pioneers, Renee Hoffmann scored the Sharks' only goal. Kenzie Harmison made the start on Friday and made 24 saves. The Sharks killed every one of Sacred Heart's power play opportunities last weekend, and have now gone three straight games without giving up a power play goal. Bouveur now has seven goals on the season and Hoffmann has four. Carrigan Umpherville leads the team with nine goals and nine assists for a team-best 18 points. McLeod has 369 saves this season for a .902 save percentage. Harmison has 227 saves with a .919 save percentage.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
After defeating Anna Maria, 8-1 in its highest scoring game of the season last Saturday, the Post University Eagles are looking to bounce back after falling to Sacred Heart, 4-0 in a midweek game on Tuesday afternoon. Natalie Sammons led the team with three shots on goal against the Pioneers. Kaitlyn Daly played all 60 minutes in net and finished with 52 saves, which was three away from matching her season-high. Jenna Abeyta scored twice against Anna Maria and leads the team with 16 goals and 11 assists for a team best 27 points. Sadie Storm also scored twice against the Amcats and is the second highest goal scorer with 11 goals this season and four assists for 15 points. Daly has 465 saves this season and a .893 save percentage. Jenna Baumgartner has 415 saves and a .898 save percentage this season.
