BROOKLYN, N.Y. – After 41 days away from the Steinberg Wellness Center, the Sharks return home, as the LIU men's basketball team (3-7) will host Delaware (10-2, Friday, December 20 at 7 p.m. The game will air live on NEC Front Row.

- LIU will be looking to bounce back from a tough ending to their road trip. Rider beat LIU, 89-74 last Saturday in Alumni Gym. The Broncs had four players score in double digits in the win, including two players who had 20+ point efforts. LIU was led by 21 points from redshirt senior Raiquan Clark, while senior Julian Batts added a season-high 18 points.
- Delaware (10-2) comes to Brooklyn as one of the more formidable opponents the Sharks have faced this season. The Blue Hens started the season on a 9-0 streak, having only recently lost two games at George Washington and against #20 Villanova.
- Delaware beat NEC opponent SFU (79-64), and has also registered wins over Columbia, Delaware State, Stony Brook and Lafayette.
- The Blue Hens have four of their five starters averaging in double digits, led by junior guard Nat Darling's 21.5 points per game. Junior guard Ryan Allen (13.9 ppg), sophomore forward Justyn Mutts (13.8 ppg and 9.3 rpg) and junior guard Kevin Anderson (10.8 ppg) are the other main sources of offense for Delaware, while their fifth starter, senior forward Collin Goss, averages 7.8 points per game and 6.5 rebounds per game.
