BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – The Long Island University men's soccer team will resume Northeast Conference (NEC) play on Sunday, October 6 at 3 p.m. against Sacred Heart University at Park Avenue Field in Fairfield, Connecticut.
Notes on the Sharks
LIU is 4-5-0 overall and 1-0-0 in NEC play. The Sharks most recently suffered a 2-1 setback at Hofstra University on Tuesday, April 1 in Hempstead, New York.

Athanasios Coutroumpas and freshman

Scouting Sacred Heart
The Pioneers are 1-8-0 on the season and 0-2-0 in NEC play. Most recently, Sacred Heart fell 2-0 to Bryant University on Sunday, September 29 in Smithfield, Rhode Island.
Sacred Heart is led in points by Segundo Navarro who has six along with a team-high three goals. Jean Gabriel Pierazzi has two points and one goal while Olaf Coforti and Riley Sullivan each have one point and one assist.
