BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – Graduate student defensive back
Grant Ibeh of the Long Island University football team has earned an invite to the 2020 Dream Bowl at Salem Football Stadium.
The Dream Bowl is a College Football All-Star Showcase of the best FCS, D-II and D-III players from across the country and is open to any seniors that have exhausted NCAA eligibility. The game treats student-athletes from smaller universities to a bowl game experience, providing first-class accommodations, meals, and a weekend full of football and social activities for friends and families. The showcase also gives prospects the opportunity for National Football League and Canadian Football League scouts to see their talents in-person.
Ibeh becomes the sixth LIU student-athlete invited to the Dream Bowl which began operations during the 2016 season. Previous LIU invitees include quarterbacks Jeff Kidd and Yianni Gavalas, defensive linemen Kenny Scotland and Anthony Denunzio, and offensive lineman Joseph Lacy.
This season Ibeh ranks third on the team with 35 tackles, while adding two tackles for loss and three pass breakups.
