Selma Babic was named the women’s tennis Scholar-Athlete to lead a group of 41 Long Island University student-athletes representing eight sports on the Northeast Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll. A total of 921 student-athletes were honored by the NEC, which also named a Scholar-Athlete award winner in each of the 10 spring sports. The league also announced the 207-member Commissioner’s Honor Roll, which is comprised of student-athletes who attained at least a 3.75 grade-point-average.
